Pancakes with 01 Pilsner Spent Grain Flour

Pancakes with 01 Pilsner Spent Grain Flour

Skill level: Easy
Preparation time: 40 min (including baking)
Amount: 20 pancakes

Ingredients

125 g wheat flour

25 g 01 Pilsner Spent Grain Flour

450 ml milk

1 tsp sugar

1 tsp salt

2 large eggs

30 g butter for frying

Here's how

  1. Sift the flour into a bowl and add the sugar and salt. Add the milk a little at a time and whisk the dough well.
  2. Add the eggs and whisk well. Heat a small or medium-sized frying pan over high heat. When the pan is hot, add a small knob of butter and let it melt (use enough butter to cover the entire pan).
  3. Pour a thin layer of batter into the pan, when the pancake turns golden, flip it over, either with your fingers or a spatula.
Tip

You can add lemon zest (organic), cardamom or vanilla to the pancake batter if you want more flavour.
