Developed and produced in Denmark from 100% organic ingredients. We make our products using malted and mashed grains - a byproduct of brewing beer and whisky.

our products

From cereal to beer to flour

Breweries usually make beer and whisky using grain, mainly barley. However, for the beer, they might also use other types and mixes of grain, which means that some of our flour contains rye, wheat and oats.

We process the spent grains into four types of Agrain® Super Grain speciality flour. First, we separate the water from the grains, then dehydrate those grains, and lastly, ground the dry grains into flour. Our flour comes from many different types of 100% organic spent grains.

We developed four types of flour, and each has a unique taste. You can try 01 Pilsner, 02 IPA, 03 Stout and 04 Whisky. The names indicate from which brew we made the flour.

Agrain® is an everyday product with a twist. The nutrition-dense and upcycled Agrain Spent Beer Grain Flour is the main ingredient in all our products. The unique flavor from the spent grain is the basis for our tasty products. With Agrain you have the option to shop sustainably without compromising taste and quality.

Our products are prebiotic and nutrition-dense, including both high level of proteins and dietary fiber.

"I've tried the complete range of Agrain Spent Beer Grain Flour and had a great experience using it. You can really taste the differents flavors when baking with the flours. I've used it in bread but also in pizza bases. I use about 10-15% Spent Beer Grain Flour when baking bread and still get a juicy bread. I bake with sourdough, make sure the hydration is 80% and always use quality flour which is stone grinded.  I always recommend people to try something new like Agrain Spent Grain Flour. I haven't tried the snacks, so I still have more to look forward to."
