Amount:
20 pieces
230 g butter
180 g brown sugar
200 g sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla powder
110 g Agrain® 03 Stout Super Grain Flour or 01 Pilsner Super Grain Flour
200g wheat flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 tsp baking powder
2 dl chopped walnuts (or other nuts)
2 dl chopped dark chocolate 85%
Stir the butter, sugar and brown sugar into a soft and fluffy mixture. Mix it together with the eggs and vanilla and stir thoroughly (use an electric mixer).
Mix Agrain® 03 Super Grain Flour Stout, flour, baking powder and salt and add it to the egg and butter mixture. Mix thoroughly.
Add the nuts and chocolate, stirring gently.
Make small 50 gr balls of cookie dough – flatten the balls out either with your fingers or a fork, place them on a baking sheet at a 5 cm distance between each as they spread out during baking.
Bake for 10–13 min until golden at 190 degrees (hot air). Be sure not to bake the cookies for too long, as they should be a little soft and chewy in the middle once they have cooled down.
Allow the cookies to cool - first on a plate and once they have hardened a bit, put them on aoven rack. Cookies are soft in the middle, so be careful not to overbake them and not to move them onto the oven rack for cooling too early, as you can risk breaking them.
Walnuts can be replaced with other types of nuts. If you want a less heavy chocolate flavor, you can use other types of chocolate e.g. milk chocolate, white chocolate etc.
Using 03 Super Grain Flour Stout, your cookies will be darker and stronger in taste compared to the result you will get if using the Pilsner Super Grain Flour.
